Our founder, William Barclay Parsons, was a true pioneer—always
inspiring his associates to examine new ideas and test new
concepts, and setting a direction for our firm that has been
continued for over a century. And we have retained our position
as a pioneering organization, ready to apply or to advance
the state of the art when circumstances call for such efforts.
In 1985 PB launched an annual fellowship program to honor
William Barclay Parsons and encourage technical excellence
in the firm. The fellowship sponsors PB employees’ exploration
of state-of-the-art topics and publishes their findings for
the use of colleagues and the profession as a whole. A selection
