Our power transmission and distribution experience began with the identification and subsequent implementation of the most feasible and economic method of interconnecting local generating stations with local loads. This work naturally progressed to developing secure and reliable connections to transmit and distribute power from large capacity central power stations to remote bulk power supply points and large industrial loads, resulting in integrated transmission and distribution networks.
