Issue 65. Bosphorus Crossing and Middle East Projects
PB is playing an important role in the Bosphorus project, which includes the deepest-ever immersed tunnel and the world's first inter-continental immersed rail tunnel. The Bosphorus Crossing in the
historic city of Istanbul, Turkey connects Thrace in Europe with Anatolia in Asia. PB specialists from around the world contributed their skills, including tunnel and station ventilation, seismic analysis, immersed tunnel design, station planning, wave modeling, and railway systems design and integration.
We are also featuring PB projects in the Middle East, including UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Israel.
