Award and Recognition Programs

PB's Professional Recognition Program provides a career path for PB's technical professionals through offering a Professional Associate (PA) title. The program awards three levels of PA titles based on factors such as leadership, technical expertise and key contributions to PB.

The William Barclay Parsons Fellowship commemorates PB's centennial and honors the pioneering spirit of its founder. Established in 1985, this fellowship is awarded annually to a PB employee, enabling study of a new concept or cutting-edge technique in a practice area. Fellows publish their research in a monograph, gain widespread recognition and build mentoring relationships with senior PB veterans.

Recognizing the importance of publishing technical papers, PB bestows an award for the Professional Publication of the Year annually to an employee whose published work significantly contributes to one of PB's practice areas.
