The Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Council of Governments retained PB to conduct a major investment study of Fort Washington Way improvements. Then the City of Cincinnati chose PB to lead the team providing program management, preliminary engineering and construction management services for the $313 million reconfiguration. To support successful completion, PB provided a full array of services including:
- Highway engineering services
- Environmental services
- Urban design services
- Transportation planning services
- Construction management services
- Financial/economic consulting services
- Public involvement services
We also provided:
- Final design
- Preliminary engineering/draft environmental impact statement (PE/DEIS)
- Project management
- Construction management
- Busway and light rail transit planning
In 2001, the project won a Construction Management Association of America Project Achievement Award.
