Jim McConnell, LAUSD's Chief Facilities Executive, praised the PB team. "We needed the best in the industry to execute our program, and PB gave us exactly what we needed."
This effort has earned prestigious awards for Jim McConnell and the LAUSD's Facilities Services Division. In 2005, the division received the Construction Management Association of America's (CMAA) Excellence in Program Management Award, while McConnell received the Southern California Chapter of the CMAA's Honoree of the Year Award. In 2004, McConnell was named Public Official of the Year by Governing magazine, while the division received the Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association's Owner of the Year Award and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerces Ira Yellin Distinguished Achievement Award.
