In May 2003, PB became a Full Sustainable Development Charter Member of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP). UITP is an international transit organization with 2,500 members from approximately 80 countries. It promotes the benefits of public transport worldwide, including its contribution to the goals of sustainable development.

Full charter members must meet stringent criteria, including a demonstrated corporate commitment to sustainability and strong internal programs to incorporate sustainability into their business and professional practice.

PB is proud of this distinction. UITP charter membership reinforces our commitment to playing a leadership role in advancing the principles of sustainability within our industry.
